PADS新手的一點(diǎn)心得和技巧偶是PADS的新手，原來(lái)一直用protel。花了四天時(shí)間第一次用PADS2005畫(huà)了一塊大板子，開(kāi)始確實(shí)有很多感覺(jué)不方便不熟悉的地方?，F(xiàn)在算是入門(mén)了，也總結(jié)了一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)和技巧。希望對(duì)PADS的新手能有所幫助。


1．布局時(shí)飛線(xiàn)（鼠線(xiàn)，connection）的處理。 Layout的缺省設(shè)置并不是讓飛線(xiàn)最短化。一開(kāi)始布元件時(shí)，飛線(xiàn)實(shí)在是密如蛛網(wǎng)，暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向。Tools\length minimization (CRTL＋M) 也沒(méi)有用，硬著頭皮在缺省設(shè)置下完成了元件布局。幾欲faint。后來(lái)才發(fā)現(xiàn)其實(shí)沒(méi)有設(shè)置好。正確或者說(shuō)方便的設(shè)置應(yīng)該是讓飛線(xiàn)最短并且在移動(dòng)中始終最短。

這樣在按CTRL＋M，很多飛線(xiàn)就消失了，也就最短了

Setup\preference\length minimize\during moving

這樣移動(dòng)元件是飛線(xiàn)始終最短。

另外，很多飛線(xiàn)其實(shí)是地線(xiàn)?？梢园训鼐€(xiàn)的飛線(xiàn)先hide起來(lái)。并把地線(xiàn)的net設(shè)置成比較特殊的顏色。這樣就布局就方便多了。

View\nets\??選在左邊net list 選GND net，加到右邊view list。在右邊選GND，下面view unroute details 選none， 在左邊顏色中選一個(gè)顏色。

這樣地線(xiàn)的飛線(xiàn)就hide起來(lái)了，并且是同一種顏色。當(dāng)然這里要小心信號(hào)地和power地要分開(kāi)先。

這樣的設(shè)置布局起來(lái)就方便多了。早知道就好，ft。

2．改全部元件的字體屬性。和protel一樣，這個(gè)是可以一次全部改成相同的屬性的。

單擊鼠標(biāo)右鍵，選select components, 再單擊右鍵，選 select all （CTRL＋A）。再單擊右鍵，選query/modify (CTRL+Q)， part outline width 輸入想要的寬度，下面選label， 選Ref. Des. Press the big button under it. 彈出新窗口， input the value you want at size and width. Press OK. Then the size, width , even the part outline width are same. 有點(diǎn)麻煩。呵呵。??

3．加過(guò)孔。開(kāi)始我也以為PADS不能隨便加via，必須要畫(huà)trace，然后加了還一段在top另一段在bottom，很讓人ft，因?yàn)檫@via實(shí)在是太常用了。對(duì)GND的via要能經(jīng)常的加隨意的加才好。其實(shí)這也可以。

單擊老鼠右鍵，check “select net”, select the net you want to add via, usually, GND net, the GND is high light. Then right click mouse again, select “ add via”, then you can add vias which are connected to GND net. Freely and put them wherever you want.??Remember, if the GND net is hide and set to a special color, no connection for these vias, but they are same color as other pads and trace in GND net.??

4. 覆銅。覆銅應(yīng)該是PADS的一大優(yōu)點(diǎn)?？炝撕芏唷?duì)于焊盤(pán)可以選擇銅是蓋過(guò)去(flood over)還是用對(duì)角（orthogonal, diagonal）連

??接。對(duì)某一個(gè)形狀的焊盤(pán)只能一種設(shè)置。如果有幾個(gè)圓形焊盤(pán)希望銅鋪過(guò)去，而幾個(gè)相同的圓形焊盤(pán)想用梅花連接。那可以這

??樣。覆銅時(shí)preference\thermals\, select the pad and shape, check “ orthogonal” or “diagonal”, then all these shape pads are orthogonal or????

???? diagonal connection to the copper. And then, put a copper （銅皮）to the pads you want the copper flood over，and assign the same net to the??

??????copper. Then these pads are flooded over by the copper.
